On the 24th November 2012 at the Cité de La Musique in Paris, the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Pascal Rophé gave the world première of “Cercle Intérieur” – for 85 players scattered among the audience.
Commissioned to Luís Tinoco by the Radio France, this piece was scored for the same orchestral setting of “Terretektohr”, a work composed by Iannis Xennakis in 1965-66 and that was also performed in this same concert.
The program also included two more works, György Ligeti’s “Lontano” for large orchestra, and the World première of “L’Amphithéâtre” by Michaël Lévinas. This concert is now available on podcast until the 20th of March 2013.
